94+ take everything you like about a great Chianti Classico and turn it up a notch or 2 but it still maintains grace and elegance. This is technically their Riserva as it was called that previously but they pulled out of the Consorzio.

A med+ ruby red core. The nose is very complex, in line with it's former classification as the Riserva of Corzano and Paterno, and because it is now an IGT instead that is 100% Sangiovese like all of Tuscany's best Sangiovese only IGT wines that do not call themselves Chianti Classico (Montevertine is the OG of this philosophy). The wine is aromatically endowed with beautiful layers of fresh, red, dusty, cherries and berries, with barely a touch of sweet balsamic, earth, leather, red and brown spices. On the palate this med to med+ bodied wine has spectacular energy, lift and poise, with med/med+ fine tannins and acidity that leans more med+ but is perfectly integrated. The vibrant and spiced red fruits on the palate are classic, juicy, and dense, with a long finish. You can definitely enjoy this now with some air for the delicious primary fruit or let it age gracefully for 10-12 years easy.
