State Lane Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Showing a bit tired and possibly with a hint of Brett making it taste slightly austere.

This needs more time in the bottle. Still has more tannins than I prefer. Even after 3+ decanting. Next bottle next year sometime.

Shared this wine for Christmas dinner with Ileana. Paired it with a great bone in ribeye steak I grilled.
Big cab, fruit forward with hints of black berries and smoked plums. Great long finish.

Ripe Boysenberry. Rich super rich

Dark Fruit, Tobacco, Herbs, Syrup

Very, balanced. Reminds me a lot of Cardinale from Kendall Jackson.
