Smells delicious. Wild berries, blue fruits, ripe boysenberry, sage, so much sage and a hint of lavender. Supple tannin, medium bodied but full of intent. Good going.

Interesting take on the varietal. The aromatics were so herbal. Almost no apparent primary fruit on the nose. Sage, tarragon, roasted meats, white pepper and black olive were the most noticeable of aromas. Palate lacked the tiniest bit of flavour intensity
