Apr 25th, 2016Take two for me with this wine as I accidentally froze and blew the top off my first attempt over New Years. Very nice growers blend of around 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chard. The juice from this NV comes from 06' and 07' and was on the lees for around 8-9 years. Very dry yet round and balanced wine with yeasty biscuit notes and apple. I suspect blind this would fair well tasting against some nice (and super expensive) offerings from the big houses. Big QPR.

Jan 1st, 2016Accidentally forgot about in the freezer on New Year's Eve - great surprise this morning. Thawed what remained in the bottle and tried the remaining juice, which tasted like it would have made a really nice champagne. Crisp apple and yeasty bread notes. Look forward to getting this again and hopefully not exploding it.
