Cordero di Montezemolo
Bricco Gattera Barolo Nebbiolo
Intense dried floral, sweet cherry, dried dusty red fruits, leather and dried tobacco. Palate warm and rich, tannins finally mellowing out yet present. Very nice.

Feb 7th, 2016The nose was perfumed and intense with dried flowers, rich black cherry, roasted nuts, exotic spice, balsamic tones, gravel dust and hints of undergrowth. On the palate, it was silky with vibrant currents of acidity ushering in dark fruits, cedar and spice notes. Mounting tannin coated the palate throughout the finish, drying out the fruit and reminding me that this is a young Barolo.

Jul 10th, 2016A modern take of Barolo definitely could taste the oak influence, but still a beautiful wine with great nose dark cherry, floral notes, spice, before coming to a palate of dark fruits and then a black finish I think is the fabled tar taste
