On the Nose, Cloves, oak, vanilla, blackberries, spices, licorice and black pepper.
Light to medium bodied and harsh, with high acidity.
Dry and sour on the palate with cherries, strawberries, plums, oak (chips?), Cloves and peppercorn.
Short finish with soft tannins and spices.
Drinkable but not very enjoyable, really. With a Harsh mouthfeel and feels watered down with a bad after taste. Will not buy again.
12.5% alcohol by volume.
Scored very nicely on Vivino, so I gave it a shot. Unfortunately, not in my favor this time...

Doesn't provide vintage year. Fruity, medium-bodied wine. Wife requested from restaurant connected to hotel we have been staying at. I'm not a Merlot person. But, it was a reasonable bottle that kept me company in South Dakota.
