Absolutely delicious with stout cheeses (aged Gruyere and aged Gouda) and seedy crackers. Couldn’t be more pleasing. Was smooth, complimentarily fragrant and balanced. Try it!

Very smooth wine. Earthy tones, tobacco, herbs and a little spice. Mellow tannins at the end. Yummy blend of Tempranillo and garnacha.

Deep garnet hue with medium-high saturation. Aromas and flavors of baking spice, blackcurrant, cherry, cranberry, leather, licorice, oak, plum, toast, and vanilla. Medium-full body; medium-heavy tannins; and medium-high acidity. Rich, deep, smooth, and balanced: enjoyable and suitable for many occasions; softens up as it opens up. A 50/50 blend of Garnacha and Tempranillo.

Good value. Might try again with a good steak or BBQ if I’m not looking for something super dark.

Not bad. Medium body. Dark dry fruit and a decent flash of plum. On dry side. Not super memorable but good enough for the in-laws (ha!). Update: I’m going to try this again and update. Just read some eye opening things about Spanish Granacha...my first impression from this experience could have been affected by the situation I was in.
