A tangy Garnacha /Tempranillo blend from Spain. Showing red and black fruits with chocolates, earth, wood, alcohol, vegetables, bitter herbs and spices.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity with soft tannins on the finish.

This Single Vineyard is Unbalanced and better with food.
Might need a couple of years in the bottle to mature properly.

A blend of 50% Garnacha and 50% Tempranillo. Old Vine grapes.

15% alcohol by volume.

87 Points.

Very detailed geographic info on the bottle. 35% Temp and 65% Granacha blend. Aroma is strangely nutty and toasty. Crackers and jam. Faint smoke. Flavors are tart. Hint of savory, meaty, woodsy stuff in there. It’s got chewy, chewy tannins too. Finish is all jams and jellies. Membrillo perhaps. This is complex, grippy, high flavor Spanish red. More like Evodia Granacha than the Tempranillo I’m familiar with. More violets and dark chocolate over cherries and wild strawberries. Maybe could soften with a bit more age. The tannins are big at this point.

Pretty Nice flavor, but only if given 24 hours to breathe.

Absolutely delicious with stout cheeses (aged Gruyere and aged Gouda) and seedy crackers. Couldn’t be more pleasing. Was smooth, complimentarily fragrant and balanced. Try it!

Smells amazing! Delightfully fruity and a little tangy. 35% Tempranillo, 65% Garnacha. Notes of chocolate linger. Even better after it opens up a bit.
