Another bottle. Thanks Robbie. Amazingly dense nose. Curry spices, sage and a horse. Graphite and pencil sharpener. Plus something fruity. Maybe plums. Or dried sweet cherries. Flavors are classic Amador Zin. Nutmeg and cherry juice. Campfires and fancy Flame raisins. It’s still a nice wine, but better smelling than it tastes. The mouth has a bit too much ripe stuff and not enough to chewy on.

Oct 26th, 2020Hmm Cooper. That place is usually da bomb. Lovely rusty red. Fruit is restrained, but nice. Flavors are very rich and smooth. A smooth easy Zin. Plenty of campfire to match the jammy fruits.

A wonderful chewy jammy wine with A bright acidity and smooth finish. Mike Roser from Cooper vineyards consistently produces fabulous wines and this is certainly one of them
