I’ve had an opportunity recently to try two local Umpqua Valley Gruner Veltliners back to back. Both are crisp, with a little citrus and slightly sweet. Both are great! I can’t and won’t say which is better!

Very nice on a warm summer evening! Fruity scent, a taste of stone fruit; almost sweet, then a citrus-crispness.

Fresh cut Meyer lemon, and green apple with undertones of white pepper and damp river rock. Slight residual sweetness, fresh acidity.
