If you’re gonna drink Friuli merlot you could do much worse (and somewhat better? Miani?) than this...rich and velvety, not a hint of tannin. Beautiful woodsy nose.

I bought this about 15 years ago from Vienna Vintner and glad I did because it stood the test of time after the past 13 years in a basement. Glad I didn’t wait longer but this is very enjoyable at 19!

Not sure the slightly lighter tannin and mellow flavors were due to age or the region. Some cherry and modest dark berry along with what I thought was a faint licorice in mid palate.

Very good. Not killer wine I would go back for every time, but more than serviceable. Easy for novices too.
