Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Deep plum in color. Nose has ripe blackberry; hints of cedar and slight vanilla. Ripe bright raspberry on the palate. Not jammy; piercing (almost sour). Medium body with nice acidity. This would be a great food wine.

Starts off nice, but I don’t care for the sour finish. Not much of a nice either.
