Beautifully aged, gracious, harmonious and silky. Still has some fruit left. This has always been, and still is, a very trustworthy, true-to-type and affordable example of Barolo.

Wonderful. Starting to develop secondaries. Prunes, cherry, cinnamon, cloves, smoke, sweet tobacco, dried flowers, tar and ink. Quite firm and full on the mid-palate, 99 was a very good year over here
