This earns an 87 based on QPR alone.. For $9, it's one of the very few Chianti's that are palatable in my opinion. Fresh strawberry and cherry fruit on the nose with a hint of earth and underbrush. The palate is lively with zingy acidity and a distinct freshness. Great value on this one.

Nice smooth flavor. Went well with a tomato-based sauce, stuffed pepper. Light in color but with a slight spicy taste. 2018 vintage. Got it at Total Wine Chantilly.
