Consilience Santa Barbara County Petite Sirah 2013.
Beautiful aromas of black berries with a nice following of spice and light oak. Welcoming blueberries on the palate along with a nicely balanced and smooth mouthfeel. Tannins are firm but not aggressive. Would pair nicely with grilled salmon filet, pork tenderloin and even ribs or pizza.

Was at a steak house with expensive wine list but found the hole in the list. This was very well priced for the list and was enjoyed greatly by the group of us eating. Drank the 2011 as well that night. (Wine list quoted the year as 2007 but knew must be a mistake and of course it was).
