Ocio Valle de Casablanca Pinot Noir

A really good Pinot from Chile! Garnet red, lots of coffee on the nose, some green notes lingering in the background, toffee, slightly meaty and nice tannins. Vintage 2013.

It's back 👊💥 Last bottle was premox - this is much better 👍

My favourite 🇨🇱 Pinot @ £33 continues to impress 😅 If you've never tried Ocio give it ago but decant 😉

👃 Smokey cherry oaky cocoa cola, violet whiffs, spiced pepper red fruits & dark cherry w/ vanilla & earthy tones

👄 Med+ body of incredibly smooth balanced ripe spiced concentrated creamy chewy cherry w/ cola, liquorice, cocoa & earthy tones

My favourite 🇨🇱 Pinot @ £30-40 but this vintage didn't quite excite me as others - maybe needs more time 🤔 or a touch of premox? Must try another 😎 as normally a 92-96

👃 Burnt smokey oaky cocoa, violet whiffs, spiced red fruits & dark cherry w/ vanilla sprinkles

👄 Med body of sour spiced rich concentrated cherry in med acidity w/ burnt liquorice, cocoa & earthy tones but all little hot from ABV 14.5%

🎯 Med+ burnt cocoa cherry & liqorice

Drink it at the makers vineyard enjoy the weather and people around. Great acidity and special aroma. A little deep purple color with surprise taste
