I worked at Conn Creek for less than a year but as long as Mike McGrath is the winemaker I will enjoy these wines and pimp the hell out of them. He gets this grape right.

Apr 17th, 2015Grateful to see how this wine has developed from tannic intensity to velvety sleekness. Drinking so easily now, with enough grip and acid freshness and fruit clinging to whispers of its passing primary youth. Conn Creek remains one of the Napa Valley’s greatest values. With the retirement of Mike McGrath it will be interesting to see where they go next. 14.5% abv but you’d never know it.

Feb 28th, 2018I always really like the Atlas Peak Cabs and this is no exception. Deliciously smooth with acid to cut through the (delicious) steak fat. Nice black cherry fruit. Really good!
