A deep burgundy with chalk and ripe, almost stewed fruits on the nose. The palate provides mild acidity and rough tannins, unripe. This is not unpleasant at all however. Red cherry is present. Certainly drinkable and enjoyable, but I'm tempted to say some more aging could be beneficial.
