Solid wine but not a fan of the oak profile.

Maybe a little too much fruit. Actually too unbalanced. The acid and fruit just didn't mesh. $12 / 76pts

The next white wine and seafood match for Easter is this 2017 Casillero del Diablo Chardonnay made by Concha Y Toro in Chile ($14) with salmon & kale slaw 👌

It’s a brilliant yellow-gold colour in the glass. The nose is a touch bready with spiced apple/pear and a hint of minerality. In the mouth it’s full of juicy peach, a squeeze of lemon, a sprinkling of nuts and a pinch of white pepper.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #winesample

Loved the oak profile as it mellows the dryness. For a €10 bottle it’s excellent value

Very light, softly fruity, the light pineapple and pear flavor predominates, low acidity, a fair label for everyday life!
