Light violet color. Earthy soil and roasted corn on the nose. Medium acidity. Dry. Alcohol. Light to medium body. Berries and subtle vanilla. Some bite on the aftertaste. It's a good value. 1.5L for 9 bucks? No complaints.

A favorite of Kathleen's dad Neil. Good stand by Merlot at a very reasonable price. Had at thanksgiving 2013 and liked it
