First of a few posts to come this evening. Out on a wine and steak adventure with 3 other old guys. This one a very good start, but a little past it's prime. Some of the fruit got lost. Should have drunk a couple of years ago.

Very elegant, a point.

Quite elegant for a Pommard and especially a Comte Armand

Slight sense of maturity.
Easy to enjoy.

Raspberries, pepper and oak. Strong tannins and perfectly balanced and complex. Absolutely amazing with a rib-eye.
