Comte Armand
Pommard 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Magnum. Good. Not exceptional. A bit raw and short on palate and finish.

Not exactly closed but definitely still reluctant to unleash its full expression. The complexity is there but hiding. Good length and balance. 14 euros by the glass at Ma Cuisine. (The first glass, from a previously-opened bottle, didn't show well. Glad we didn't have to pay for both.)

Perfectly serviceable for a 2004. Not a hint of green to it. Mmm. RIP JJH 💔

Tart red berry fruits, pleasant minerality, and a modest finish. Not bad.
