Younger vine material & as far as I know my first dance with unfortified Tintilla. It has a dark fruited/plummy character which suits the deeply pitched violet color. Moderately structured, but well balanced and shows enough tannic grip & savoriness to temper the ample fruit. The aromatics are the star here. Seductive floral & dark fruit notes jump from the glass. This shows a delicacy in harmony with the "bigger" characteristics. Really enjoyed this Tintilla & will happily purchase more.

Pretty much perfect end to a Saturday with the 2013 Vara Y Pulgar and the new record from Boogarins . Wine is smoky & dark, yet unbelievably nimble. The record is layered & complex and will be one, just like their other work to unfold for years to come. Get these.

Almost purple. Dark nose with blackberry and plum. Olive, leather, tobacco and chocolate but yet bright and lifted. Fine tannins with bracing minerals. Focused and balanced. 100% Tintilla. Alcohol 13.5%. A revelation. Worth seeking out.

Black olive w some sinister spark. 100% Tintilla from Cadiz. Oak, concrete, and French barrels make this baby go round.
