Not as pretty as the 2014. Nice red fruits, herbs, low tannins. Surprised to see 14% on the label as this drinks quite light. Touch of bitterness in the finish but the wine really fleshes out with 45mn of air. This is a real enjoyable wine.

Stewed berries, white pepper, chinato like herbs and flowers. Love.

Patchouli, cloves, cardamom, surprise aromatics from yet another bit player in the pantheon of grape varieties. The phantasmagoria. The endless exploration. Too cool.

My first Pelaverga ever(no pun intended), fortunately it doesn't taste like one. But it grows on you, lol. About the wine it tastes like a Barolo, with juicy Maraschino cherries, currants and a smidge of spicy Angostura bitters. From hitimewine.net

Pepper comes through on the nose but does not dominate as it meshes with wild red berries, spice and some minerality. The palate is silky and refined. Reminds me of a Cru Beaujolais with spice.

Light-hearted and with an uplifting structure, aromas recall wild berries, the forest, and the earth. Always a fan of more 'lucrative' Nebbiolo, but Pelaverga is a treasure becoming much too rare in Piemonte. Really lovely.
