Dolcetto d'Alba

The (slightly) serious side of Dolcetto. Great structure and nice brambly dark fruits. Stunning for the price.

Admittedly grading on the "under $20 curve", this wine is lovely.

Red checkered table cloth not included.

Nice dolcetto with 13,5 %alc.. Fermentation with a % of stems.

Can't help but reach for a juicy and delicious Dolcetto with weeknight pasta dishes.

Ruby red. Lots of Dolcetto tannins, decent acid. Touch of black ink, nice cranberry, bell pepper, brambles, slate. From Flatiron Wines. 12/01/22.

This was singing the other night with some eggplant and sausage pasta. I can’t imagine this getting any better than it is right now.

This was delicious with lobster ravioli. Soft tannins, cherry on the finish.

Not sure I’d particularly pick this out amongst dolcetto despite Burlotto winemaking and some whole cluster. Could just be I don’t like dolcetto as not found one that does it for me yet. I’d much rather pay the extra tenner for Burlotto’s Barbera Alves.
