Light and elegant, as one would expect from Burlotto, but also with terrific energy and purity. A treat.

First 2012 I've tasted... Super dynamic without being a ball-buster...

Decided to open another btl of Burlotto after the corked Monvigliero.

This has a beautiful deep ruby colour, is well integrated, but maybe lacks a defining characteristic of a single MGA Barolo. Texture is good, tannins a touch dry, but otherwise good and would like to try again in a few years.

This is still drinking very young but with some of the elegant & floral style of the Monvigliero.

Maffig, som sig bör. Örtigt, lakrits. God med parmesan men är nog kickass med en redig bit kött. Dracks på lilla bro, borås.

I'm very fond of Burlotto, this wine is young, but very tasty, even approachable at the moment. Good Q/P value.
