Columbia Crest
H3 Horse Heaven Hills Sauvignon Blanc
Pale lemon in color.
Light nose with green apples, grapefruits, bitter herbs and spices.
Medium plus in body and crisp with high acidity.
Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, citrus, green apples, bitter vegetables and black pepper.
Short finish with bitter almonds and limes.
This is a simple Sauvignon Blanc from Washington State. Not fully balanced and better with food. A good pool wine though.
Better when very cold. Was better a couple of years ago, probably.
I paired it with a hot day by the lake.
13% alcohol by volume.
82 Points.
$11.

I preferred it cold, Reona preferred warmer. Good but not for 14.99.
