supposedly a Gold Medal wine: ski trip to CO wanted to drink local, love PV but this was disappointing... way hot, probably 15% and not wearing it well, grippy tannins and some black & red fruit, bit one dimensional, maybe some florals. smooth broad fleshy on palate, tannins really prevalent leading to the hot, slightly astringent finish.
