CVed 9/5/17. Still!? Definite tea leaves ave earth on nose. Quite enticing and good acidic lithe balance on palate with finish lingering with tea leaves again. Opened 10/8/17. Turns out to be synthetic cork but had been standing all this time. Tasted a bit flatter but still got that interesting note.

Sep 6th, 2017Balanced nose of acids and leaves and red fruits and simmer minerals. Palate is complex with earthiness and minerals and tart red fruits. Long complex finish with a bit of tannins (black tea?). 12.5% ABV. Insane value at $7.64. Local clone of Sangiovase, not the one in Tuscany. JL tasting 10/11/16 Central Italy. Bought two.
