Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi

Sweet and floral white with notes of honey. More flavor when it warms up, but I preferred it extra cold.

Pleasant with Baked cod and potatoes a la Pierre Franey ($14).

Quite nice with Pierre Franey roasted chicken and tian ($14)

Still nice with pan seared salmon ($14). Fruity, dry and crisp with Verdicchio minerality.

Floral, zesty and citrusy ($ 14). Quite nice with apricot dijon roasted chicken and rice.

Crisp accompaniment to roasted balsamic checken ($14);zesty and citrusy.

Complex fruity white, well balanced, not too sweet. We had it at Basta in Boulder during a Valentine’s tasting menu.

Quite nice with chicken pot pie ($13)

Pleasant accompaniment to balsamic chicken, zucchini tomato casserole and ravioli ($13). Also enjoyed with roast chicken in velouté sauce.

Good pairing with chicken sausage / white bean / spinach soup ($13).
