Fantastic Italian white for $10. Subtly complex, crisp, slight effervescence. Will buy again

It is surprisingly flavorful for a wine so light. It is fruity with pear and peach but no sweetness.

Excellent verdicchio with complex fruit, medium body, good minerality and character. Refreshing. Excellent food wine. 2015

It comes out of a bottle with a lot of minerality, but as it opens it becomes much more floral and soft on the mouth. Everyone seems to taste a little something different. Maybe a little wine, maybe a little Peach. I guess white flowers and the tiny bit of citrus and something that seems like Peach but not exactly. Lovely floral notes. Great wine.

2005 vintage, had it last night at Roscioli in Rome. Definitely aged, some oxidation, and very different flavors than normal but still had good acidity. Not a typical verdicchio, but maybe typical for a 10 yr old verdicchio. Really nice though, and it worked well with plates of salumi.
