Today was an absolutely fantastic Friday hosting at the City Club by @Dan Fitzgerald. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert wine. Great job Dan!
The second of four Colgin’s served blind. I can’t decide if it was where this was placed in the line up or if I was just not a fan at the moment, but aromatically this was...odd? Dirty sage, musky, and old blackberry tart. Heavier on the palate but it didn’t match the nose. Blackberries, chewy cranberry, cassis and plum. I was thinking this was an older Syrah.

I completely forgot to post this. My brother from another mother Kirk Alexander uncorked these 2 Absolutely Phenomenal 100 point beauties for us to enjoy just because I came over!!!!!! ! Damn., I’ve got to go to his house more often!!!!!! All kidding aside., we were celebrating Veronica’s (his beautiful wife) birthday and what a truly special Evening.it was. There’s nothing better than uncorking a special bottle with friends that have become like family.
We love you Veronica!!! And put up with Kirk just because of you🤣😜🤣

Had high expectations - Parker 100 point wine. A little too ripe and stewed, but certainly delicious.

Can't find a lot of fault here. Very impressive. Lacks some unique terroir qualities but it is science and farming melded to near perfection. #gattaca
