Coelho Winery
Paciência Coelho Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir
Bright and clear garnet in the glass. Shy nose of black cherry, tea, and terra cotta. Fine tannins envelop the matching palate with a floral element over the top and a lengthy finish that adds baked spiced plum. Medium light body. A terrific food wine that compliments the Thanksgiving table — or any other table — with aplomb. Serve with almost anything and upscale the experience!

Nov 23rd, 20182016 vintage. Nice, lite Pinot. Prefer the 2015 vintage to the 2016, but still an awesome wine.

Jun 25th, 2022Plum jammy notes on the nose into deep cherry with hints of vanilla. Very rich and robust. On the palate, silky smooth and lucious. Well balanced though not especially concentrated, with cherry and a hint of something a bit bitter.

Apr 1st, 2022Fantastic aromas of cherry cola and a little spice surprised me given how lite colored this wine is in my glass. On the palate there is another twist in that the initial taste is a little funky and tart but then almost immediately there is an explosion of flavors like red cherries, cola, and sassafras. There is a slight but lingering finish. All in all a nice Pinot from Oregon.
