Much better than it has any right to be at $7. Heavy on the fruit (cherry, blackberry and a hint of chocolate), light on the tannins, medium- to full-bodied. Pairs well with chicken, pork and pasta dishes, but is quaffable on its own. This is a good everyday red that you can actually afford to drink every day! Only available at Trader Joe's, I believe.
