Well done. Sure, wine shows generosity of California and enthusiastic elevage, and still well done.

Gorgeously bright and juicy forest berry and herbs. For some reason showing a lot more oak tonight than usual.

Strawberries, red cherries, clove, red licorice, beautiful florality, pipe tobacco, mint, rooibos, sweet spices, hints of loam and turned earth on the nose. Vibrant acidity and bright red fruit. Beautiful mouthfeel with a light touch of tannin on the finish. Florality re-emerges in a beautiful finish. Very well made wine. This is a 2008 and I would honestly recommend a few more years of cellaring. Unabashedly pinot.

Definitely among my favorite California Pinots these days. Lithe, juicy, and all sour cherry raspberry goodness with a side of citrus snap.

Shows better with time but dark in color and lots of smoke and cherry in the nose. Dark cherry and strawberry in the core with a strawberry/acidic finish. Always great.
