1999 golden pretty oxidised a wiff of lychee on the nose and mid pallet reminiscent of Turkish delight with a hint of rose the lack of acidic backbone wasn’t able to pull the wine through to anything but a curiosity

Rose petals and lychee dominate the nose and palate, with notes of orange zest/pith, and subtle manuka on the finish. Medium dry, with beautiful body that coats the mouth. Could use with a bit more acidity for balance, long long finish
