I think this is my first St Bris aka my first SB from Burgundy! Have to say, I really enjoyed it. It isn’t very complex but it is very drinkable.

Superfine, elegant. Some Saint-Bris starts out rather raw and weedy, but this is pure class. Perfectly ripe, long on the palate. Put this in any tasting of top Sancerre or Pouilly-Fumé; it’ll hold its own.

Straw gold. Grassy nose; moreso than usual for this appellation. Honeyed quince and green grass on the palate. Medium acidity and medium finish. Very tasty.

This was opened several weeks ago, but the acidity and that tight sealing screw cap kept it surprisingly fresh. Another reason this is my go-to Sauvignon.

Bright, surprisingly deepish beige gold. Honeyed orange and straw on the nose. Medium mouthfeel, medium plus acidity. The rustic side of Sauvignon with more hay than grass and more satsuma than grapefruit. Great food wine that would even appeal to the sippers. Great value.

Deliciously lime-y, chalky mineral. Quite nice.

True to type nose with grassy notes, some lemon peel, some hay too. The palate is crisp and acid driven, with some green apple and lemony touches, a good width and a great length, with some lemon peel touches in the rear. It doesn't have the chalky component that I usually associate with Saint Bris, but it's a crisp and lively Sauvignon that does the trick

Lovely! Citrus notes without excessive acidity. Lemon with a soft finish.

Really pleasant SB. Not one of my usuals but drinkable. Not overly complex, low acidity, slight preachiness and minerality to it.
