The bottle I had 1 1/2 years ago was better. The nose has classic scents of wet sea shell and other limestoney minerals, but I detect a slight oxidative note already creeping in. There good weight, fruit, and minerality in the mouth. But the acids are lowish. And the color is a deeper gold than before. I’d drink and enjoy these before 2024 ends. UPDATE: On night 3, it seems more tightly knit and youthful. Weird! A Benjamin Button act. Upping score from 8.9 to 9.1.

Jan 9th, 2024Great, fresh nose features freshly squeezed lemon juice, dried seashell, and crisp green apple fruit. Light-footed in the mouth, with a nice balance of fruit, acids, and high-toned stony minerality. Round mouth feel. Nicely done.
