Very similar to the 2016 I reviewed - offers a fantastic value for an old school Bordeaux Claret style w/an extra little southern French accent… made in Bekaa Valley - stood up well to grilled ribeyes

Nov 4th, 2023Just so pretty, inky in decanter, immediately sported intoxicating notes of cherry, red currant, incense, herbaceousness, bell pepper, leafy greens, musty, earthy, just a whirlwind of aromas at once Bordeaux like with a whiff of southern France. Med weight w/generous extraction & concentration of flavors, secondary flavors really shine making this fantastic food wine… just enough acidity to keep things moving thru generous finish. @Andrew Holod this is one of the estates I visited - great QPR as well.
