Pre phylloxera Malbec from the Vaucluse. Aerated 2 hours. Deep dark color. Nose of dark fruit. Palate of dark fruit, cedar and a flash of truffle. Balanced acid and tannins ABV 12.5% leading to an overall lightness. Perfect with duck confit. Different, stylish and just right.

Excellent old world Malbec, at its apex. None of the animale I link with new world Malbec (great Catenas come to mind), enough age to have a soft, cedary edge on a dark cherry core. Very solid match for the Kansas cut, drink up.
