2018 - $25ish
Restrained, yet alluring. Like an intense gem wrapped in a silk bag. Herbaceous minerality trying to peak through. Ripe fruits on the nose that don’t scream on the palate.

Simply beautiful organic vermentinu from 5th generation Patrimonio winemakers. Texture for days, ripe fruit, wild savory herbs, and mouthwatering freshness and acidity. Highlight of the Marfisi lineup (tasted with Julie at the domaine) alongside the dark and beguiling Ravagnola rouge. Took this bottle with us to enjoy in Rome.

Not sure if this is the right wine. Orange yellow color. Nutty notes.

Neither Mom nor Dad cared for. Liked the Ravagnola better. A little musky.

Woah woah woah, this shit is incredible. So light but oxidative and nutty almost sherry like! So delicious.

Gewurz-like: expressive nose, citrus, tropical fruit, pine, flowers, stems and grass, mute mute mute on the palate. Fine, but wanted more intrigue from this producer, whom I L-O-V-E. Vermentino is an interesting grape. Need to try more.
