Nuria is my style Pet Nat - crisp, clean, direct. This bottling I’ve loved but it may have lost some life since I first tried earlier this year.

Pours nicely but now deflates quick and finishes lean.

Faintly oxidized copper with yellow apples and whole florals and orange essence.

I have no trouble calling this one of the best Pet Nats I’ve ever tried. It’s the first I’ve picked up from Clos Lentiscus. Both made from Cava grapes, both single varietal, both under 11% ABV, both called Nuria. This is 100% Montenega. It’s a beautiful glowing copper.

The first thing you’ll notice is how singed and toasted it is. Then fall spices. Bitter blood orange, coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg.

The second thing you’ll think about is how unbelievably bone try this is. So complex and yet so lean.

Flavor, completeness, low ABV. It’s all I ever wanted.
