Cherries, leather, smoke, a touch of currant and vanilla. It's all about the #bluefruit on the palate with tart cherries and lots of acidity with moderate tannins. Really nice #chairmansselection PA $11.99

Brighter acidity than expected for central coast Syrah though I heard this was grown closer to Santa Cruz mountains. Great value wine, it starts off a bit tart but then after a few sips you grasp the black fruit and integrated pepper and good structure.

Deep ruby coloring. Tastes like strawberry with hint of mustiness- makes the flavor end s with an anise overtone. Needs some heavy cheese to balance.
