Enjoyed this classic 2006 Napa cab on 7/5/2020. It held up very well with plenty of life remaining.

Taking a couple hours to open up. Definitely worth the wait.

A little thin for a Napa can, but elegant.

Earthy smell that's subtle and inviting. Smooth and refined

Needs to open, very tightly wound. This could sit for 3-5 more years without a problem. Very tasty with nice steak.

I've found my place in life: I'm Teds swim barometer, and he's my wine barometer.
Thankfully he reminded me to open a bottle tonight.

Done.

This is smooth

Smooth, very well balanced and a silky, sultry finish. Firm tannins but mellow across the tongue. Not overly done on alcohol either.
