Nice balance and structure. Red plum, and strawberry with a backdrop of liquorice and pencil.

A Bordeaux light on tanniness and vanilla, but equally complex in flavor. Distinct taste of red fruits, think plums, hawthorns, plums, and maybe a bit of crisp red cherries. Low to medium acidity and medium bodied. Lighter on color than other Bordeaux ive had. So overall an easy to approach Bordeaux

3.0. Dark purple Bordeaux, up-front fruitiness but a bit flat on the palette, with pretty smooth finish. On sale for $9.99!, regularly $12.99.

Loved this wine. Super robust, lots of dark fruits and tobacco. Nice complexity & very tannic. Had this with steak frites & would love to have again.

Very interesting tasting: magnum v seven fifty. Same wine, same vintage, uncorked at the same time. I had never done that before and found the juice on the magnum to slightly offset its counterpart. More ripeness on the fruit, a bit less tannic, and fuller feel on the pallet. Same juice but shyly superior on the magnum, again interesting.

Hints of blackberry and baking spice, but mostly alcohol and tannin.
