Funky funky nose! Sure, there’s the sappy cheeriness of the grape, but the earthy aromas consist of components of barnyard, moist soil, and fragrant, mouthwatering limestone dust. In the mouth, it’s very aggressive, attacking with loads of clinging minerality and bitter cherry. Very good acidity. Lots of character here, and drinking very well now.

A decent Burgundy from a good year. not outstanding but if it was - you’d be paying four times the price. Still holding its own after eight years.
