Clos du Joncuas
Gigondas Rosé Grenache Blend
I went to Walgreens looking like this and some dude like half my age stopped me to say I was adorable he liked my style and could he Snapchat me—-oh wait wine. I’m talking about wine. I needed to un-discombobulate from the Walgreens incident with a predictably lovely rosé which Clos de Joncuas provided. It has limeyness as in limes (muddled with raspberries) and limestones. And it is mineral galore but if it were a living room this wine would have a crown molding of roses and river nymphs. I surmise that only makes sense to me but apparently I’m still bobulated. Oh and I told the dude I wasn’t on Snapchat which was the truth. Does this come-on mean I could still play twenties in Hollywood?

Dec 23rd, 2019Light brite. Bright and not ever so light! It has that Grenache hit that makes this fun and not just another white wine masquerading as a rosé as it is the salmon color that says it is serious. the lime, tangerine, shell, wetted (in your luxe shower) pumice stone and custard bits take me home. Literally and figuratively I’d come home to this wine. I’d take it home and bed it on the regular
