Interesting California Zinfandel. Lush but not overly jammy. Nice balance. Reminded me of a South American Syrah or Malbec. Dark ruby color. Aromas and flavors of subtle red/black fruit with nice accents of baking spices, tobacco and toasty oak. Touch of a green note on the finish. Nicely rounded tannins. Excellent balance. Fantastic QPR! A very pleasant surprise!
