2014 14.5% it’s ok. The food I’m eating could be playing a factor

Yeah Alexander Valley Cabernet rarely disappoints. Five years in the bottle helped too. It’s full and smooth and stays way clear of the grapy taste that destroys so many other good vintages. Enough tannins are left to give a nice texture and bring out the earthy flavors.

Excellent hints of cherry.

Much better than I expected - balanced, dry, good cab example. Not particularly anything but very easy to drink

This is an “ok” cab. Strong tannins. (?) Didn’t love it. Expensive for what we thought. I liked a different one a lot more for less $.

Very smooth nice finish. B tastes tannins, but lightly so could go with it if served with dinner.

Dry and Mello. Great for a steak @abeandlouis

This stopped short of exciting. Lack cassis and was more blue fruit. The tannins were AWOL. Decent wine but there are far better wines out there.
