Domaine Lois Louise Cote Sud Pinot Noir

2017 vintage. Medium-heavy body. Dark color. Rhubarby, plummy nose. Muscular with a consistent palate fill and push the entire show. No dropoff anywhere. Not as delicate as I’d like but this is the best domestic Pinot I’ve had in a while. Holy bleep. 1.10.24.

2010 was superbly soft with plenty of acid backbone still left. 30 min decant. Everything was firing

2012 vintage suitably complex for 'day after' discussion of the Game of Thrones opener.

Woodsy notes with good acidity and ripe strawberry flavors. Drank the 2010 and was very enjoyable, but could also be laid down a bit longer.

Showing really well. Nice soft
tannins and some acidity, not fruit forward (for a SC Pinot), some funky forest floor
stuff going on. Wines like this make me happy.
